Hole 8 (The Dyke) - 396 Yards, Par 4

Pro's Tips

With its length, plus out-of-bounds all of the way down the right-side, this is perhaps our toughest Par 4.

For long hitters and low handicapers, two large trees dominate this hole. Off the tee, you'll want to pass, or at least avoid being impeded for your second shot by the large tree to the right of the fairway. But if your tee shot is too far left, your approach will be complicated by a second large tree just short-left of the green.

Pretty much everyone gets a shot here, so the senible approach is to focus on accuracy not distance. Keep out of trouble, perhaps lay up with your second, and trust your short-game.
