As an inclusive club we want everyone to enjoy the game and be part of our membership, and provide a number of different membership options.

Regardless of your level of experience or standard of golf, you will find Retford to be the friendliest of clubs. Playing on a varied and interesting golf course, our members organise informal "Fiddles" six days a week, making it easy for new members, ladies and gents, to integrate, make friends, and play golf whenever it suits them.

Club competitions are organised all year round: Gents on Sundays, Ladies Tuesdays, Seniors Thursdays and Juniors on Saturday afternoons. There is a full program of inter-club competitions at all levels. Members also benefit from a lively social scene, including regular quiz nights, dinners and other events.

Members of Retford Golf Club enjoy access to our historic course which is set amidst beautiful surroundings and is playable year-round.

Terms and conditions apply. Membership must be paid in full at the time of joining. Age bands apply to the subscription element of the membership bill. Includes Joining fee, Subscription, England Golf and Notts Union of Golf Clubs Affiliation.


Flexible Membership

We would love everyone at the club to be Full members, but we recognise that individual circumstances mean this doesn’t work for everybody.

The introduction of Retford Golf Club's truly flexible membership is designed to provide real flexibility, accommodating each individual’s budget and opportunities to play.

We are aware not everyone has the time to play often enough to justify Full membership and as a friendly, community-based club we also know that there are keen golfers who want to be club members but are unable to meet the cost of full membership.

As an inclusive club we want everyone to enjoy the game and be part of our membership so Flexible Membership options are designed to provide that opportunity but please be aware places for this new category are limited.
